Through God’s presence in the work of eight NE Florida FCA staff and more than 150+ volunteers, 2,500 coaches and athletes grew in their understanding of how Jesus Christ relates to their athletic, personal and spiritual lives. Enjoy these few snapshots of God at work in this challenging year:
ENGAGE
God was with us while we shared the Gospel of Jesus Christ and engaged others.
Prior to COVID shutting down our school campuses this past spring, we were able to commission a volunteer character coach on one of our local campuses to simply engage coaches and athletes with FCA character development curriculum. As a result of the relationship this character coach built with a team, an FCA huddle developed within the team enabling coaches and athletes the opportunity to respond to the Gospel. Twelve students surrendered their lives to Jesus and began attending the local church this volunteer was from. These students are now being equipped and discipled by FCA and the local church!
EQUIP
God was with us as coaches and athletes were empowered to engage and equip others.
