Prayer Day - Week of November 30

FCA's Values: Our relationships will demonstrate steadfast commitment to Jesus Christ and His Word through Integrity, Serving, Teamwork and Excellence.

Please partner with us in prayer this week as we pray through FCA's Values: Integrity, Serving, Teamwork and Excellence. May the Holy Spirit produce these values in the day-in-day-out lives of our staff, volunteers, supporters, coaches and athletes.

Integrity | May we demonstrate Christ-like wholeness, privately and publicly.

"Honesty guides good people; dishonesty destroys treacherous people." -Proverbs 11:3

"Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things." -Philippines 4:8

Serving | May we model Jesus’ example of serving.

"After washing their feet, he put on his robe again and sat down and asked, 'Do you understand what I was doing? You call me ‘Teacher’ and ‘Lord,’ and you are right, because that’s what I am. And since I, your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you ought to wash each other’s feet. I have given you an example to follow. Do as I have done to you. I tell you the truth, slaves are not greater than their master. Nor is the messenger more important than the one who sends the message. Now that you know these things, God will bless you for doing them.'" -John 13:12–17

"As each has received a gift, use it to serve one another, as good stewards of God's varied grace:" -1 Peter 4:10

Teamwork | May we express our unity in Christ in all our relationships.

"Is there any encouragement from belonging to Christ? Any comfort from his love? Any fellowship together in the Spirit? Are your hearts tender and compassionate? Then make me truly happy by agreeing wholeheartedly with each other, loving one another, and working together with one mind and purpose. Don’t be selfish; don’t try to impress others. Be humble, thinking of others as better than yourselves. Don’t look out only for your own interests, but take an interest in others, too." -Philippians 2:1-4

Excellence | May we honor and glorify God in all we do.

"Work willingly at whatever you do, as though you were working for the Lord rather than for people. Remember that the Lord will give you an inheritance as your reward, and that the Master you are serving is Christ." -Colossians 3:23-24

"And it is my prayer that your love may abound more and more, with knowledge and all discernment, so that you may approve what is excellent, and so be pure and blameless for the day of Christ." -Philippians 1:9-10
