FCA ministry has largely occurred throughout history in the locker room, in a classroom, on the practice field, on the course, or on the court. Because doors are closed (for now) to these places, naturally the question becomes, how do we minister in spite of closed campuses, no sports, and social distancing?
Rather than "pushing pause" on FCA ministry, we believe for this season, the use of technology driven virtual spaces will enable to us to continuing moving forward in our mission to lead every coach and athlete into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ and His church.
See this first-hand at NEFloridaFCA.org/FCAvirtual.
FCA did tremendous job quickly building and defining for our staff, volunteers, coaches and athletes how we will navigate this virtual space for the foreseeable future.
Specific to NE Florida, we encourage you to check it out for yourself at NEFloridaFCA.org/FCAvirtual.
This page is filled with resources to engage, equip, and empower coaches and athletes as they are lead into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ and His Church.
Join us in praying that our current circumstances will cause coaches and athletes across the globe to lift their eyes to Jesus, to contemplate eternity, and to ask God to calm their fears. COVID-19 was not in our plans. However, we trust in God's plan, and as always, we are asking Him to move!
Tuesday, March 24th, FCA set the day aside for prayer and fasting. Our nearly 2,000 staff worldwide spent the day praying over our coaches, athletes, boards, volunteers, investors, schools, communities, country, and world with the simple goal of growing closer to the Lord in holiness and praying over the COVID-19 crisis.
